As the best-selling novelist of all time, Agatha Christie is outsold only by the Bible and Shakespeare. To celebrate the 125th anniversary of her birth, Christie’s literary organization wanted to give fans an opportunity to share their own stories about the “Queen of Crime”.
Inspired by letters found in Christie’s personal archives, the #125stories project is powered by TwineSocial’s API. Whether fans take to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, or YouTube, tributes are routed to a sleek, intuitive social hub where vintage fan notes appear next to current-day submissions. Recognizing Christie’s readership spans generations, designers also equipped visitors without social media accounts to share a memory directly on the site.
