The Case

In partnership with Melbourne agency IE Media, Nike hosted an 10k run, inspiring female runners in cities across the world to "own their city." Nike encouraged runners to share their stories using the #NikeSheRuns hashtag while training for and participating in the event.

The Approach

IE Media and Nike Australia used social media hubs to spread user generated content throughout the campaign. TwineSocial displayed live content from runners on a mobile-optimized site. Additionally, during the event Nike used TwineSocial to display real-time posts from major networks on a live Jumbotron display.

The Outcome

The hashtag #NikeSheRuns was used over 5k times around the event by runners and spectators, helping the campaign reach over 14 million runners, gain over 31,000 new Facebook followers and 3 million impressions.
