CLIENT: Burger Boss
When Burger Boss launched in 2012, the southern California restaurant set out to spark a hamburger revival. A menu packed with all-natural, locally-sourced options quickly piqued the interest of an increasingly health-minded community. But Burger Boss didn’t stop there. High-tech touchscreen kiosks encourage patrons to “boss your burger”–customizing everything from gluten-free buns and vegan patties to grassfed burgers loaded with sauce. Customers relished the results, but, while good food speaks for itself, sometimes it needs a little help being heard.
As Burger Boss expanded across the region, customers felt more invested in the dining experience and routinely shared snapshots of the burgers they had bossed to perfection. In building the company’s online presence, Burger Boss wanted to feature those word-of-mouth recommendations front and center on their website.
TwineSocial’s aggregation service enabled Burger Boss to easily retrieve all social content related to the #bossyourburger and associated hashtags. Moderation tools usher selected photos into a horizontal slider–one of Twine’s many ready-to-go designs.
The freshness of user-generated content lends authenticity to the restaurant’s website, and the result is an engaging “see it to believe it” display that’s as beautifully sculpted as the burgers themselves.
